When an eggplant parmigiana sandwich craving hits, I definitely need to satisfy it. My most recent craving brought me to Lee's, as it is the only sandwich joint near me that offers such a sandwich. And yes, I previously mentioned I would never order from Lee's again after a pretty bad experience, but a girl has to satisfy an eggplant parm craving in any way possible. I'm not sure if Lee's has undergone new management/employees since the last time I visited, but I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. My eggplant parm sandwich was one of the best I've had - cheesy, saucy, eggplant-y (?). The portions were not skimpy, either. My side of sweet potato fries were perfectly crisp, though I did need to add salt and pepper to bring out the flavor. Additionally, the employees could not have been nicer. Keep up the good work, Lee's, and I will keep on ordering!!

I've gotten food here on three occasions and all have been subpar at best. Hoagies are subway quality with thick lunch meat, salads are terrible- how do you mess up salad? How?! On top of that it's not cheap. Better off going anywhere but here.

As a child, growing up in West Oak Lane, in the 80's, there were two absolutes: Explorer's Den (LaSalle Campus) was the only place to buy a cheesesteak, and Lee's Hoagie House was the only place to get a hoagie. Fast forward 25 years, and I rarely see a Lee's. I start a new job, though, and my boss is obsessed with the Lee's in Blue Bell, so now I have Lee's at least twice a week. What I order varies and is usually pretty good - but nothing to write home about. The one constant here is that I always order a side of Sweet Potato Fries. They are always soggy by the time they get here. Falling apart. Like, come on, guys, did NO ONE go to French Fry 101? Lee's puts them in a little boat. Good. Sticks them in a paper bag. Great. Puts the bag inside a plastic bag. Uh-oh. Ties plastic bag shut. Rest in peace any semblance of crispness. That burns my damn brownies. They are soggy and fall apart, but from what I can tell, they would have been shoestring perfection w/a touch of salt and some honey mustard. *Cries *and orders the same thing tomorrow.

Italian hoagie: 4.5 stars. I get it as often as I can and truly crave it. Turkey hoagie: excessively bland. More bland than any turkey sandwich should be. Cheesesteak: 4.5 stars. I got one out of convenience so I wouldn't have to make an extra stop at Pudge's. I was surprised that it was really delicious. It had a really good meat to bread ratio (I don't like too much meat, I like a good balance). Finally, the bread was not soggy when I opened it (at home from take-out). I will definitely get it again the next time I pick up an italian hoagie and skip the turkey one!

The hoagies here are edible but nothing really special. They don't compare to Primo's, that's for sure, but are okay if you live across the street and just want a quick, simple bite. They have a "bistro/cafe" menu but I would stick with the hoagies and the cheesesteaks here. The fries (both sweet potato and waffle) are pretty good when hot and fresh from the deep fryer. Today (and every 3rd Wednesday of the month) was half price Italian hoagie day so I ordered a few for dinner along with a half chicken caesar hoagie and waffle fries. Overall, the food was good and the price was great. I would definitely spend the extra $.30 and upgrade to the sesame seeded roll. The chicken caesar hoagie was full of marinated, grilled chicken and cheese, although they did go a little heavy-handed on the dressing. If you live in the area, it's a good takeout option. Plus, they deliver, which is a nice plus.

Last night, my husband came to me with a certain look in his eye. He ran to me in the driveway, pulled me close and whispered in my ear: "I could really go for some hoagies... yeah, and french fries too. You could even get.... Onion Rings." *swoon* Perhaps not Sonnets from the Portuguese. But I crave on Onion Rings in a big way and the Hubs knows his lady. When DH says hoagies, he means Lee's, Bluebell. Its a trip for us, but its his favorite. His Italian was fresh and full of thinly sliced, quality meat. I generally get a sharp Italian and shouldn't have deviated. My Greek Chicken wrap was somewhat of a disappointment. The chicken was nicely grilled; it wasn't a pre-cooked breast, the feta was plentiful and there were lots of olives. But the "seasoning" was nonexistent. I threw on some hot peppers to liven it up. My onion rings were pre-frozen (a crime against the noble allium). But the coating was crispy and the serving was ample. The Kid had nuggets and two of my onion rings, she didn't complain, but she's been known to eat dryer lint. Solid 3 stars. All Lee's are not created equal. Though it is a franchise/chain, the menu can vary. This one uses quality meats, cheeses and breads and the hoagies are quite good. The pre-frozen sides are indicative of most pizza shops. The Bluebell location gets extra points for being clean, family friendly, and having ample self serve peppers.

I would pass this place every time I had class at Montco. This was the place where I grabbed something quick when I forgot to pack my dinner. I would just love their Italian hoagie because the garnish and meat was great. I remembered that they toasted their seeded bread which made it even better. Plus, you can add more hot and sweet peppers at the station next to the drinks. Service is fast and good with plenty of TVs to watch the news or game. Great atmosphere if you just want to lounge with friends. Nice location being in Blue Bell and around the parks and school.

I miss living near this Lee's. It was always so good. Always fresh and delicious. My favorite was the South Philly hoagie and their buffalo chicken cheesesteak. I may make the drive back here even though I have another (really gross) Lee's down the street from my new place.

It was a good place to eat and I got a lot for my money. The only improvement I would say they could make would be to wear gloves all of the time. I saw some cross contamination when I was waiting for my hoagie. I didn't get sick but it could happen to someone. Again I really thought the food was good and the people friendly.

Awesome hoagies. Macaroni salad by lee's is also delicious! They make they're own rolls here, the wheat can't be beat! Try the lee's special hoagie!

Was staying at Normany Farm Hotel and dropped by here for a quick dinner and we saw the Yelp deal. Decent service. Food selection was pretty standards, fries/hoagies/panins/wraps. There were a lot of options of standard lunch hoagie places. We got the eggplant parm hoagie which was really good, falalfel wrap which needed more flavor but fresh, and the nachos which were really good but the chips were super fried. This is a good place if you're getting a bunch of stuff for people who's taste you don't know, but this wouldn't be my go-to spot. Then again, it's the burbs, and you gotta drive a lot further to find stuff.

I have been in several Lees and this one is not the same. They are trying to create a fancy menu in addition to the usual Lees items. If you order one of the items, be prepared to wait and the prices are outrageous. They should change their name because they are not the same as every other Lees.

This Lee's is nothing like the others. Steak hoagie wasn't good. Parm garlic fries were disgusting. I was a bit surprised bc the inside looks nice and clean. But I should've listened to that other reviewer. ....the workers here look angry and down and you can taste it in their food. Drive to the other Lee's on Germantown !

The only reason I give this a 3 rating is the staff. Yes your order is done fast but the food is kind of bland and can get very expensive depending on what you order. The wings are not that great, fries stink. I do have to say they do have a few creative sandwiches. I will go back

Quick service and good sandwiches. Went in last night and waited no more than 10 mins for 2 sandwiches. Staff is really friendly and makes sure the order is correct. Good amount of meats on the sandwiches.

Love this place - friendly staff, it's always spotless, service is quick and they get your order right. I was in today and my regular order was (slightly) delayed for one reason or another - the staff apologized several times, even though there really was no need to, and the manager comped my drink and apologized again on my way out. That's great customer service!
